Amazing Fantasy #15, the first appearance of Peter Parker as Spider-Man is the hottest back issue in comics right now.

This past summer I sold my CGC graded 3.0, unrestored copy at the San Diego comic-con for a lot more than I paid for it. I thought the market had begin to slow down for this valuable comic book. Well, it seems to be getting stronger.

Based on thwonline sales I’m seeing, the $4000 price could be $5000 for a VG copy in less than a year. Crazy since the current stock market is having so much trouble.

With a new spider man movie on the works, this comic just may stay hot for a while.
